Cacao is a nutrient dense superfood, traditionally used to protect the heart and brain.* Anima Mundi's Cacao comes from a single origin farm in Ecuador that has been consciously cultivating ancestral seeds since 1892. Cacao is considered a sacred offering amongst many indigenous tribes. The Cacao tree is said to house the spirits of the gods. 

Anima Mundi's Cacao comes from an heirloom farm in Ecuador known as Cacao Arriba. They are certified "denominacion de origen" which means they are beyond organic, as they prioritize another level of purity, such as exclusively using heirloom strains, good water, good soil, good air, and good cultivation practices.
